What is Wings of Hope?
Wings of Hope is an initiative that creates sustainable pathways into global aviation careers for displaced and vulnerable youths, through mentorship, training, certification and employment.
What’s the difference between the membership tiers?
Global Member and Global Professional are individual tiers open to anyone who wants to connect with and support the mission. Founding Hero recognises early, symbolic supporters. Corporate Member is for organisations, and includes a pool of Wings for staff to use on training.
What are “Wings”, and how do I earn them?
Wings are a recognition system, not a currency — they can’t be cashed out or transferred between members. You earn Status Wings and Spendable Wings automatically for things like joining, renewing, referring an active member, mentoring, or verifying credentials. Spendable Wings can be used on SIAEi/Wings of Hope’s own services, such as event seats or training discounts.
Do I need an aviation background to join?
No. Members support the mission in many ways — as mentors, verifiers, corporate sponsors, or simply as supporters of the cause. The youths going through the aviation pathways are a separate group from the paying membership.
How do the aviation pathways work?
Participants move through five stages: Identify, Mentor, Train, Certify, Employ. Training covers three tracks — Aviation Hospitality, Aircraft Engineering, and Aviation Operations — delivered with partner training institutions and leading to industry-recognised certification and real employment.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, at any time from your Membership Account page. Membership fees are not automatically refunded for partial periods; contact us if you have a specific concern.
How is my payment processed?
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
How do I get involved beyond becoming a member?
